Careers

Two open roles

We hire slowly and keep the team small, because every client gets a named engineer and that only works if the names are good.

Open roles

Who we are hiring

Every role here is billable AWS work from week one. No bench, no shadowing.

AWS Solution Architect

Full timeRemote or Ahmedabad5+ years

You will take a client account from the first review through to running it. That means reading someone else's architecture, writing down what is wrong with it in language a CTO can act on, then doing the work.

  • You have designed and run production AWS, not just passed the exam.
  • You can write. Half this job is a document somebody has to act on.
  • You are comfortable telling a client their plan is wrong, with reasons.
  • Terraform, VPC design, IAM and at least one of EKS or serverless in depth.

AWS Cloud/DevOps Engineer

Full timeRemote or Ahmedabad3+ years

Build the pipelines, the Terraform and the monitoring, and take a share of the on-call for the systems you built. Nobody here hands over a system they would not be paged for.

  • Terraform or CloudFormation in anger, including importing what already exists.
  • CI/CD you have built rather than inherited: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or CodePipeline.
  • Containers on ECS or EKS, and enough Linux to debug the layer underneath.
  • You write scripts other people can read six months later.
What you get

The deal, plainly

Real systems, small team

You own an account, not a ticket queue. The trade is that the work is visible: your name is on the review and on the pager rota.

Time to read

Reviews are billable here, which means learning a new architecture properly is the job rather than something you do at the weekend.

Certifications paid

AWS certification fees and the study time. We would rather you got them on our clock than not at all.

On-call that is compensated

Rotated, paid, and rare enough to be rare. If a client pages us weekly we fix the cause instead of staffing around it.

How to apply

Send a CV and one paragraph

The paragraph matters more than the CV. Tell us about a system you ran and the thing that broke on it. No cover letter template, please, we can tell.

PDF, DOC, DOCX or TXT, up to 4 MB. It reaches us as an attachment.

Fields marked * are required. Your CV goes to two people here and nowhere else.

Where it goes

Reply time

Two working days, including the ones that are a no.

Process

A call, a technical conversation about your own work, then a conversation with a client-facing engineer. No take-home exercise.

Questions

Questions before you apply

The ones candidates ask on the first call. Anything missing, email [email protected].

Is remote work allowed, or do I need to be in Ahmedabad?

Both roles are remote or Ahmedabad, your choice. The team already works across locations, so nothing about the process assumes you are in the office.

What experience do I need for the AWS Solution Architect role?

Five years or more of designing and running production AWS, plus Terraform, VPC design, IAM and real depth in either EKS or serverless. A certification on its own does not cover it.

What experience do I need for the DevOps Engineer role?

Three years or more. Terraform or CloudFormation used in anger including importing existing infrastructure, CI/CD you built rather than inherited, containers on ECS or EKS, and enough Linux to debug the layer underneath.

What does the interview process look like?

A call, a technical conversation about your own work, then a conversation with a client-facing engineer. No take-home exercise.

How long before I hear back?

Two working days, including when the answer is no.

Is on-call part of the job?

Yes, rotated and paid. You take a share of the pager for the systems you built. If a client pages us weekly we fix the cause rather than staffing around it.

Does iNube pay for AWS certifications?

Exam fees and the study time, on our clock.

Do I need to write a cover letter?

No. Send a CV and one paragraph about a system you ran and the thing that broke on it. The paragraph matters more than the CV.
